Jackson felt that he needed a little time away from home. Home was just becoming emptier and emptier, at least it was in what had once been his family’s den. Now it was just him and Agony, and the boy could only stand her holier-than-thou attitude for so much at a time. At first he had been tempted to try to follow the scents of those who recently fled Anathema in hopes that he might be able to find Camilla. Her disappearance had just been another kick to him while he was down. But the scents were getting old and washed away with seasonal rains, so soon enough the boy was just aimlessly wandering west. He remembered these sights from the time he’d gone over to AniWaya, and he knew he was on the same path when he stumbled near another unfamiliar pack’s borders. The Acidic boy had bypassed these lands the first time he’d traveled out west, but this time, he was a little curious.
He padded along the borders for a little while in his seldom-used four-legged form, cerulean eyes taking in the sights along the borders. Hell, why not just plunge right in? There was no one in sight to tell him off, and all he really wanted was a quick look around. So push on past the borders he did. Even his run-in with that fierce little lady of Inferni didn’t seem to do any good at dissuading him from creeping along into other pack’s lands. It was a sort of curiosity that the boy just couldn’t control. He had the desire to learn about the other packs in the region, and this just seemed like the most direct way of going about it. Why should he bother trying to summon up one of the members when he could do a little solo exploration first? The best information was the kind he could gather with his own eyes.
