She spoke again in that peculiar tongue. Once more, the words flowed together in a meaningless, lyrical — and somehow profound — way. No truly coherent thoughts formed in response, but a feeling developed nonetheless. Her tone was playful and inviting, and he responded to that... Or at least he was about to when she dipped beneath the surface. He stayed put but tipped his head, puzzled, as her gurgles of amusement sounded from below. They echoed strangely through the various media and he'd barely wrapped his head around the queer noise when her touch jolted him into awareness.

He started slightly in surprise and his tail reflexively swished away from her grasp, but the movement felt slow and unnatural in the cold water. Heeeey, he drawled ineffectively, retreating backwards several steps from her shadowy figure. It didn't seem to work. Her body brushed against the side of his leg and he found himself growing aware of another sensation, a familiar one spurred on by their recent touches and the general body high the drugs made him experience. His ears fell back. A hard-on wouldn't be so difficult to hide if she weren't looking around underwater. He dropped his hands awkwardly in front of his crotch anyway — maybe she hadn't noticed, right?
