Alexandrea blinked and swerved her ears back, hearing the call of a wolf nearby and only seconds after did she feel the cart stop and the rope that bound her to the wagon slacked slightly and the young Luperci rubbed at her sore wrists with her long muzzle. She then heard the merchant return the call and it was at that moment that she spared a glance over her should to stare at the one who had howled before. Her head was hung low and her ears were flattened against her head… she was still suffering from the punishment she was given with her last escape attempt, and she was struggling to keep any hope alive inside her.
She let out a soft, almost inaudible, whimper as she fell to her knees her bushy tail hanging limp over the ground. She sagged forward with her shoulders limp in defeat and her eyes dull with despair. Attempting at lightening her mood, she tried to distract herself as she turned her head again the gaze at the stranger. She tried to focus on the other Luperci and get a good view, but it seemed that whoever it was, they were keeping quite a respectful distance. She was, however, able to notice the horse that the stranger was riding upon.
