I'm not sure if Myrika lives in the mansion, but I figure when they ran into each other before, he could have talked about where he was staying? Dusk, it's hailing a bit outside. He's in optime.

YOU'RE HERE AND THEN YOU'RE GONE

Tedros shook his shoulders a bit, allowing the cold hail to dislodge itself from his thick, matted mane. The day was fading. Reds and oranges were erupting on the horizon, the snow clouds hiding bits and pieces of the sky. The coyote’s legs pumped faster, speed walking towards the entrance of the D’Neville Mansion, towards the entrance of his new home. He opened the door and inhaled the smell of the old building.

He made his way around the hallways, his pace slower, enjoying the subtle warmth that the shelter allowed him. The door to his room was closed, as he had left it, and he opened it without a smile. It was nice to have his own place again, but he couldn’t help but feel that it was so completely empty. When the apothecary had told the pair about Cain’s terminal disease, Tedros had thought about what life would be like without his lover – but he never imagined this. An empty, quiet, broken-down room.

There was no sign of his lover; he hadn’t brought anything with him. The only things in the room were things he had found in Halfax – and the bow and arrows he had made with Kostya – and they were devoid of any meaning at all. Like they weren’t even his yet. Like this was someone else’s room, and he was just a stranger. Tedros knew the feeling would pass because it passed every night after only a few minutes. But those first few minutes hurt him badly.

Strewn across the dresser were the three books he had stumbled across. They weren’t any of the same ones from his old collection, but he was still intrigued. He removed the weapon and quiver from his back, setting it on the floor, while running his fingers down the spine of one of the books. The luperci removed the book from the others and sat down on the shitty mattress. It squeaked and squealed under his weight, but he was used to this already. Ted opened to the first page and began reading.
