Alaki seemed unimpressed at the actions of the Zepar Goliath, but this did not mean anything to Panda, nor to Venom. The two could care less about the Rakeeb's approval, the only thing they did care about at this point was going and sleeping in a comfortable bed. Even then, they had to do what they needed to with the Crimson Dreamer's body before they were able to rest. If they waited too long to skin him, his body would become stiff and immovable, so they had to do these things before they even thought about sleeping in bed. Venom knew and accepted that he would be the only one working on this project because of Panda's condition. He did not mind it, either way. It simply gave him something to do. He would have rather waited til after he rested, but it was whatever to him at the moment. He'd be able to deal with the beast now.
Alaki moved on after checking on the children. Venom did not care whether they had witnessed the death or not, it was to protect them. They would learn about death sooner or later, and of the traditions of the two Wiccans. The cult did not matter to the two wiccans, for they knew that their way was the right way, rather than the way of the cult. Panda looked at the Rakeeb as he spoke, but found that his reaffirmation meant nothing to her. Sure, she respected him, if only lightly, but she was going to do whatever she wanted with Venom's kill, no matter what he said to her. Her brown eyes had been placed harshly on the Rakeeb but this was just because she was in a bad mood. The pregnant woman had a reason to be, she had left her home for so long and all for nothing really. Neither of the wiccans had spoken to the male, instead, Venom mounted his steed again and moved alongside Panda as they followed behind the group, the children on the ground in front of them, but behind the Rakeeb.
Once they were all in Anathema, Panda and Venom separated from the Rakeeb and the children and went on their way to get their ritual gear, and to inform Zera'im of the actions that had been committed and to tell her that they were going to make it a sacrifice to the god and goddess after they removed the head and the fur. Panda had sent Serenade in front of her, to tell Zera'im that they would be coming very soon. They put their horses in the stables and then walked to their cave, Venom with the body of the other on his shoulders as he walked along, and Panda holding the club. After that, they did what they needed to do with the body while in the cave and when they went to burn it, they left the caves and burned it outside, and then did a ritual to offer this bounty, this life to the god and goddess.
