Octavius growled softly at the dark pup and stretched his paws out in front of his body, sneezing after the little boy hit his nose with a tiny black paw. Lifting one leg, he took a slow swipe at the younger one and gently pushed at his head, giving him a playful shove. Dymtr barely moved, which was the point of being so gentle. Octa found himself liking the need to be gentle; he liked having to pay attention to his body in such a way that regulating his strength was no longer a problem. Perhaps playing with tiny babies and little animals was something that would help him get to that point.
The young white wolf rolled to his feet and stood above Dymtr for a few moments before giving his head a lick and striding over to Io. He leaned against her side and nuzzled his face against her neck for a few moments. All of the people in Anathema were his family, each and every one were extended aunts and uncles even if there was no blood relation. They all looked out for each other and worked together to create a safe and mostly healthy environment to live in. Octavius had no problem with being the bold one, unlike his brothers, and showing his affection and appreciation for the people who helped secure his home and befriended his mother.
