WC:I totally failed this post •_• foreward-dated to the 7th. Optime form, ~10:30 pm
Samantha couldn't sleep, the pain in her body was almost too great. After being tortured from a sadist slaver-woman, Samantha had undergone a large appearance change. Scars were all over her back, whip marks and sword slashes. She had tried to sleep for the last past hour, her family went to sleep so early, it was almost funny. Sam sat up from the mattress she slept on and slowly stretched her tense muscles. Every night the woman would head to the hotsprings to reliev the aching and pain from her healing wounds. She told her mate where she was headed to and left. She had to promise and swear that she wasn't going to leave Anathema on her own again. Trouble seemed to follow her, much like a magnet to steel. It seemed silly, a healer couldn't do her job while handicapped. Samantha wasn't that helpless, she didn't whine and moan when she felt pain, and she could walk fine. She approached the cave entrance that smelled strongly of sulfur and walked to the pools. Steam was rising off off of the springs, lazily floating to the ceiling of the cavern and heating the room. The woman slid easily into the pools, a sigh came from her alabaster muzzle as the heat of the pools spread through her fur and cleansed any impurities. When settled, Sam let her mind wander. Of course she was happy with her mate, Rain was everything she could ask for. Her kids were sweet and kind to one another and a problem rarely raised. Deep down, in the dark part of her soul Samantha wanted revenge on the torturer who had hurt her and probably many others. Next outing Sam would take more weapons.
Sam closed her azure eyes, she kept afloat by leaning onto a rock. A content smile wa plastered over her delicate features, this was painless and painless was something that she rarely had as of late.
