dear hunter

Hello again Wink I figured this as good a time as any to have them bump into each other again.

Blind sat atop a hill, peering down on a herd of elk scavenging for food. Her luperci-legs stretched out before her and her luperci-hands resting on her thighs, she marveled still at the fact that she could sit in such a manner. The whole shifting thing was still rather new to the female, but it was a welcome change nonetheless. Just as her adoptive mothered had guessed, the change made it possible for Blind's leg to remain stretched and healthy, nearly eliminating her profound limp. The pain was no longer an hourly occurrence, but rather a side-effect to hard work. The only thing that would take some getting used to would be the fact that now her mane hung around her in messy tendrils that frequently got in her eyes, and occasionally her mouth when she tried to eat. Oh yeah, and that whole wearing clothes thing? Well, it was the reason she was out here in the first place. Traveling back to a land where she had remembered seeing buildings, she hoped to find something the humans had left behind to either wear straight away, or use to make something akin to clothing. She also hoped that perhaps she might see the luperci she ran into last time she was there.

The dark she-wolf shivered briefly in the cold before her attention was distracted toward a being now darting through the herd of elk and stirring them up like a pebble dropped in a pond. Her brow furrowed as she leaned forward and tried to focus on the creature, for she thought her coloration looked familiar. The smell wafting up her way set her heart into a gallop, but it was so mixed with other scents that it was hard to tell. Besides, this creature looked too big to be her dear friend...right?

Patience almost evaporated as Blind watched the creature hunt, finally deciding to tilt her head up and let out a menacing howl in hopes to scatter the elk - she would treat the canine to dinner later, whether it was her friend or not. The noise rumbled in her throat and vibrated across the land, and, when she lowered her head, she almost felt impressed at what she had just produced. The excitement made the female's heart nearly tear out of her chest; now only time would tell. As she waited atop the hill now, she brushed her hair back over her bi-colored eyes and let a sly smirk creep over her lips.
