Yay, got it up fast and I hope it is good enough. Last one is really all you nee to read since that is where Io comes in, others are just leading up to him finding the hotel. Big Grin WC:471

My kiss on your lips

Itzal's legs ached from running. But he felt great. His breathing was harder, and not as controlled as he would have liked. He shook himself, surprised he was so steady on four legs after walking on two for so long. He started to run again, happy to he finally got to stretch his legs by himself and just give into the rush of running. He picked up the scent of a few rabbits in the chilly air, and thought about stopping to hunt. He kept going, cause he could always hunt later, but right now he was giving into the thrill of the power in his legs.

Itzal missed the sound of the leaves rustling, and the warmth of the sun as it shone through the leaves. The cold had killed the leaves off them, making them fall out of the trees. He liked the cold weather, but he missed parts of the warmer times. He remembered last year when he had arrived here. He slowed down some are he realize he was two years old now. one and a half years since his mom and siblings were murdered, and his father fatally injured. He had lived so long without them. It seemed almost as if they weren't even real. Merely a figment of his imagination. He sped back up, not wanting to think about those times.

Itzal stopped short as he saw a few buildings. He turned his head to the side, confused. He didn't think that Anathema had any building in its territory. But the land so far still smelled of Anathema. He started to walk towards the building, seeing a sawmill in the distance, and a smaller building on behind that. He took off running towards it, his teeth bared as he tried to pick up the scent of another pack or another canine who wasn't of his own pack.

Itzal headed for the sawmill first, since that is what first appeared. He sniffed around it, only smelling Anathema. He knew the sawmill was part of the pack, but he just wanted to check to be sure. He headed northeast, to come back around to the other side of the farther small building. He was running, but silently, as was his talent. He sniffed along, smelling that his place was indeed part of anathema.

He relaxed some, until he found the old playground. He looked over everything in it with wonder. Were these human machines and toys left behind? He touched a seesaw with his paw and watched as it moved and tottered back and forth. He snickered and left those behind.

He slowed as he approached the hotel, circling it, even though he knew it smelled of anathema. He was curious and eventually moved in front of it to sit, waiting to see if anyone was around.
