[/html] This was her first pack meeting ever! When Valkyrie told her where they were going, Wraith felt all excited because she realized she was now old enough to participate in these sorts of adult activities. Unlike her younger years, when she'd been sidelined with an older coyote to watch over her, she was not big enough to attend the meeting like everyone else. Of course, she was almost eight months old now, so that meant she was almost as big as Valkyrie. Of course, Nathaniel was a bit taller than she was and Lucilla was about her size, so even though they didn't look like puppies anymore, they definitely felt like it. Wraith had grown into her massive paws and was far more coordinated now, so she was very excited to be attending the meeting. She was hoping that soon she would be allowed to participate in all the pack hunts, too, since she was growing more confident of her hunting abilities, too.

As they headed toward the meeting, Wraith, Nathaniel, and Lucilla chatted eagerly about the meeting. What would it be like? Nathaniel had a lot of silly ideas and Wraith wanted to know if anyone knew where their dad had gone. But Lucilla seemed to have a more practical idea, assuming that they would have to talk about the upcoming winter and how they'd begin hunting for their prey in the snow. Wraith just really wanted to know where her daddy had gone.

Valkyrie walked ahead of them and aside from interacting with her owls, was very quiet. Wraith didn't want to bother her and neither did anyone else, so they hung back for the duration of the walk.

When they arrived, Wraith noticed that neither the nice lady nor the scary lady were there yet. Wraith was sad to see the nice lady was missing, but was very glad to see that maybe the scary lady just had never shown up. When Wraith had described the two coyotes to Valkyrie, Val identified one as Halo -- the scary one -- and one was Sage. Although Wraith knew those few coyotes, a number of the other coyotes around here were completely new. Wraith wondered if she could talk to them after the meeting. She wanted to know them all! But until then, she settled down to wait with her siblings, wondering what would happen. [html]
