Happily Terra trotted over the snow. She'd just gotten back from her scrape in Salsola. Yesterday had been spent relaxing in the pack lands, letting the scent remingle with her fur. She always felt happy to be there, but the call of adventure had her wandering out once more.
Completely ignorant of the world around her, Terra concentrated on tracking something that she'd found. The scent was muffled, so she couldn't tell what it was beyond that it was a predator. The size was unknown, the gaps large and patchy. It looked almost like someone had been running. It could be a cougar, a weasel, or even a wolf.
The wind blew against her face, causing Terra to flinch back. The wind stung on her healing wound. It was just a thin slice across the face, but the scab was still new, with each brush sending a sharp tingle through her. Shaking her head she turned back to the task at hand. Terra would find the creature, whether it willed it or not.
