>How long had they been trying now? Months? Maybe three months, now... no, not three. Just two? Ngh! We need calanders. Sky grumbled, slamming her hands down on the desk she sat at, glaring at the journal she'd been keeping and all of the red writing, failed attempts. Sky hadn't even realized they'd been botched attempts until her heat cycle had rolled around again a day ago. It was easy for the hybrid to ignore it, but it was also a bitter reminder of her infertility at times.

>Maybe... if she were in heat and tried... they'd manage a litter?

>With a devilish grin, Sky moved away from the desk in the livingroom to travel upstairs and into the bedroom she shared with Tal, knowing full well he'd be asleep at this time of night. Restless as she was, there would be no sleeping mates on her watch. No, only sleeping children in the other rooms.

The look he'd get upon waking would be enough to let him know what she wanted. She'd mastered the look, sultry and suggestive, over the weeks they'd been trying for pups. Now, with her estrus added into the mix, there was no denying her 'needs'.
