On some primal level Io and himself connected and rather surprisingly fit together quite well. They brought out the worst in each other and if they ever bothered to try and start a relationship it would most likely be one of those where they couple constantly sniped and griped and harassed each other but never actually broke up, too unwilling to face the future alone and without the other, eventually growing to feed from the toxic chemicalness that was their relationship. Fortunately for him he had no wish to pursue a relationship with Io now or in the future.

His eyebrows pulled together in a frown of confusion. Christmas? What the hell was that? He stared at her with a puzzled expression for several seconds trying to decide if she was serious of if she had suddenly gone off the deep end into madness. Jandro gurgled laughter at his father's expression and strove to copy it, pulling a confused face at his brother. Dymtr glanced a hesitant look at his mother before sticking his tongue out at Alejandro.

"What is this Christmas? I have never heard of it before." The man had never heard of the bible or Christianity despite it being a widely accepted religion among the more civilized European countries. His parents had been non religious especially to something that had been believed by humans. The few utterances he heard on the ship over had been roundly ignored. He put his stock into no god, and believed in himself to get his work done and to make his life what it was. Hard work and effort was the key to success and everything good in life. He came from a farming background where the amount of effort you put in was directly proportional to what you got back from the land.
