What with all the duties crashing about Ralla recently--and the house simultaneously empty and full, what with the children living there and growing into their new duties--the woman was beginning to feel overwhelmed. As always she was dutiful and industrious, fulfilling the chores and requirements of her daily offerings to the pack, but she was beginning to become worn down with the household chores. Truly she should've asked the children to help out more, but Alaster was already keen on a profession path, Ayasha was busy with hers, and Aleu would not be very useful in domestic chores at all, what with her aversion to dirt...
A howl from the border caught the young mother's attention, and in curiosity she perked her ears to listen. A trader? Since the war, AniWaya certainly didn't get many of those, and yet...the prospect of trade was very enticing. The tribe was in need of supplies to surplus what had been technically stolen from them by the Guardians, and materials were never wont to waste. Having been collecting firewood with Sugar there close to the border, where the reserve was thick with trees, Ralla traveled with the barely-laden quarter horse to the origin of the call. When she arrived, she was surprised to see a small caravan and an admittedly intimidating dog trader waiting. Straightening herself, Ralla nonetheless put on a smile as she approached the woman, happy that she was at least mindful of the border and outside of it. "Osiyo," she said in greetings. "I see you are a trader. My name is Ralla--what brings you to AniWaya?" Very standard, simple talk to get things rolling. How promising would this visit be?
