Barrett could give off the impression of being more well-travelled than he was. Of the three places he lived at one point or another, none were more than a weeklong journey apart. It was just enough distance to satisfy his wanderlust while ensuring he never felt too far from home. As much as he liked to traipse around and take in the different sights, smells, and experiences the world had to offer — and despite never feeling truly uncomfortable in a new place — he liked coming back to his old stomping grounds at the end of the day (or week, or month). Sometimes the trip's half the fun though, right? he mused rhetorically, not really expecting an answer.
