The woman yawned and stretched her body, waking up in the morning beside her mate was special, it made we feel loved and cared for. Samantha's body was stiff from the attack from the golden sadist woman up in the mountains. Scars littered over her back and one on her leg where the sword was dug into her thigh. The young fae didn't want to show off the scars, they were ugly and the Luperci didn't like eyes on her. Rain lay sleeping peacefully beside her, an ivory hand reach laced itself on his muscular chest and she felt his heartbeat. It was peaceful and thudded strong, a welcome happy feeling. "Rain..." Immediately his eyes flew open, he was always protective of her. She smiled assuring her love that everything was alright. The kids were sleeping soundly in their bed next to theirs. It was that time of day when you had to get up, you had to work and help others. Sam went to the wooden dresser that housed her little amount of clothing and slipped on a pair of jeans and a red blouse. They hid her scars well, they worked well enough for the cold. Another yawn escaped the female's maw, still early and tired, Sam didn't think she got enough rest in a night.
Sam stood up and looked at Rain, "We should see more of the caves shall we?" The kids would sleep for a while and there was almost no way that they could get injured. They were sleeping and would for a while, predators were not in the caves. She planted large canine kisses on their backs, moving away before they could be awakened.Her azure eyes looked expectantly at Rain, would he escort them around the caves?
