Ears cocked forward Terra glanced down as he sent a wink her way. She didn't really know how to respond to it, a low pleasing whine coming from her throat. Surprised by her own reaction Terra lifted her head up. That couldn't have been her making that noise! It was too weak, too pleasing. It was like she wanted something from the male, though she couldn't imagine what.
Briskly, trying to wipe away what she'd done, Terra trotted towards the deer herd. She kept her ears and tail high, desperately trying not to show her discomfort. How was she supposed to deal with this stranger, this male with his coy words and cunning attitude? She peeked behind her, taking a quick glance at him before whipping back around. This was not happening. Not to her.
Terra stopped at the edge of the herd. She was still in the shade, just out of sight. The snow did her no favors here, her bright coat sticking out like a sore thumb. She turned and glanced back at the male before ducking her head back down. Who do you want to have drive the deer? That was her idea of a deer hunt. The deer would be lured towards the other canine, and together they'd take it down.
