Lets make a wager on that

Light is in Secui form. OOC: Figure while they do some of their stuff for birdies they can discuss future training and we can thread that out when we're done one of the two rank threads.

He was feverishly on the trial of a moose buck as his nose sifted through the light snow. Winters were such a great time for him and his clan he had often found himself hunting just for the mere excitement of it. Occasionally the scarred male allowed himself a friendly game or two in the beginnings of winter when his pack’s bellies were full. He would chase large game alone and play an almost slight tag with it until the animal either bested him or gave up from exhaustion. He would often pray for the day to arise that he gets his moment of fun before the hunting of winter became far more frequent. That morning he prayed for such a day, the much needed hunt to relax his soul and ready his muscles and lungs for the busy winter ahead.

The small pack would be easy to feed with his skill and he had heard of a hunter joining the pack recently or returning he was not sure which. If the pair of them could meet and devise a hunting pattern together the pack could be rich with meat. From experience a pack with more meat in their bellies was a pack that had power. It would give his new home a chance to offer out the excess of their bounties for much needed supplies or enticement to thinning loners. He was constantly in a wave of thought on how to help the pack grow. The scarred male had also been observing the others in a deep silence since he joined he felt maybe it would be time to start approaching his pack-mates and present his ideas. First off though, he would have to meet this hunter.

His mind shifted suddenly back to the moose that he had been shifting taking notice to a change in direction. He was getting closer to it so he quickened his pace taking in the direction and stride of the animal. It was already moving fairly quickly something might have spooked it. Then between the large prints of the venison a sight made him smirk. He dug his nose into the snow and sniffed with a determined huff as he investigated. Sure enough the male moose was following a female and by the strong scents among the snow she was in heat. His game would have to wait for another day. He spent far too much time tracking the male to seek out another for his fun. He didn’t mind though and started to head back to the borders of his new homeland.
