She moved in closer and his strong arms pulled her upon his lap. Her held her firmly feeling serene in the moment as she snuggled against him. He stroked her short hair that made him smile softly for it was clear she had done it herself, maybe he would help her one day just to give her the comfort of having neater hair. It was strange the beauty he seen in her, accustomed to long hair through tradition but the look suited her so well and maybe the fact that she didn’t have long hair added to her beauty. Her colours bleak but such a pretty combination to a wolf who had grown up around nearly all white and grey wolves who carried no special marks. Much were like Gemma or himself completely white or tinted grey and brown as his own had been. Her darker fur, her red snout that he chose to lick in that moment a feature he would always adore upon her. She wasn’t like the girls back home maybe that’s what had him so fascinated by her. His hands lowered to her hips shifting her just slightly closer. He felt so overwhelmed with protectiveness the male felt the need to just hold her close for as long as he needed to just allow the feeling to grow satisfied. He wished he could woo her but even then his protection stayed in control, he wouldn’t lie to her, wouldn’t pull his crap. He wanted everything to come on its own, to grow as it should, no lies, no forcing just love grown alone. He just hoped it would actually grow, but he had hope. There was always hope.
