Placing one hand on the wooden pole to stop it overbalancing Neela crouched down on the balls of her feet on the thin concrete pole, looking back over her shoulder at Temo as she waited for the wolf to head up onto the poles.
"Watch yourself climbing up, that one looks slippery" she called back to him, jerking her head towards one of the poles that he would have to cross which had a thin layer of green slime left on it from the rotten wood. As she waited for Temo to climb up Neela sniffed the air curiously. When Temo had first arrived she had thought she had recognised something in his scent and now that she had time to mull over it she was sure that she recognised something about his smell beyond the shared scent that marked him as a member of Ichika.
Tilting one head to the side she gazed at the black wolf curiously, "Sorry but have we met before? Something about you smells familiar" a small spark of panic shot through her, for a second wondering if the man before her was somebody that had lived in her old home, somebody who might know of her deeds, but she quickly squashed it before it became visible. It was much more likely that she had simply seen or smelt this new wolf in passing and not fully taken it in at the time. Whatever the source of the smell Neela wasn't going to find out by panicking so she calmed herself and leant back on the block, one ear cocked as she waited for a reply.
