Does He Love Me?

Sorry for the wait :3 It's a bit short in terms of content, but...there it is >_>

For a moment Ralla's eyes widened at the sudden embrace, but they quickly softened, having only been mildly surprised. While she was clung to she stroked Ayasha's hair, waiting for her daughter to gather her thoughts properly. Ale? she prompted softly. Soon Ayasha began to pace, and with a mixture of amusement and seriousness Ralla watched, wondering just what was going to come out of her rambunctious daughter's mouth next.

Steadily, though, as Ayasha spoke, the smile fell from Ralla's lips as she mulled everything over. Yes, Ayasha had told her about Liam, and she had not been thrilled with him based on the initial stories... But like Kemo, she was willing to forgive him if he had the resolve to reform, and had thus given him and Ayasha the benefit of the doubt. But what she was hearing here...was a repeat of her history. Despite her confidence and faith in Kemo, he had left his family, his darkness too much for him to handle. In a way he had been doing right by his family, but he had likely done more harm than good... And then the story got worse. All things considered in the past, Ralla was hardened when she needed to be, more recently. She would need to be stern now, and not let any sign of weakness enter her speech.

Ayasha, nihi uha hia equa adanvdo, Ralla said as she stepped in to wipe a tear away, trying to calm her daughter's spirits. Ayv uha adanelv nihi ale Liam hia ulisdelvdodi ale hia utlasidv nidvlenvda hia adalenisgv, ale ayv asgaihv ahani ale hatlvno ayv asehisdi hia asdanvnv. If he was dangerous enough that his pack cast him out, I do not want him near you. She knew her words were harsh, but they had to be said. Ayasha was still too young to make these decisions fully for herself--they were different than social independence; this was a matter of her safety. It would be different if Liam were here and we could watch him, but if he did the same thing here, the tribe would cast him out as well.... What must her eldest be thinking right now, being told the things she was? Would Ayasha reject them? Likely. But her daughter was distressed, it made Ralla sad to see her so...
