Her steps would lead her there, she knew. Long, shuffling steps followed by the sweep of her long, earthy coat behind her to gather the world in its folds. The hood was drawn up, feeling the chill of a cold that took nature by the throat and swept Her lands. But it would not last forever, the silver hybrid knew, for a renewed earth would spring up from the ground, both flora and fauna made new or grow steadily to complete their cycles of life.

Dried leaves crushed beneath the old one's weight as she passed through the gardens with slow, practiced ease, as the Kashyapa spent most of her time around the area. The still afternoon seemed to make the sounds of the pond settle into whispers, hardly taking a breath. Nehalennia, on the other hand, let her aged body move with much a care, the staff above her tinkling to announce her arrival. It was her nostrils, however, that would seemingly not lose its touch, as the silver woman paused briefly to take in a new scent.

No matter how quietly one moved, like a shadow underneath the trees or a stealthy hunter in the tall grass, they would always be found. The eyes of the Mother always watched and knew, but scents would always linger. Sight, then, was a matter of perceiving the world, something Neha would never have, nor have use for. Grizzled muzzle tilted up into the air, and flashed a yellow-tooth grin, her journey taking yet another interesting course as she made her way towards the scent, humming an ancient tune in hopes to gather the stranger closer to her.
