Ralla perked her ears and straightened her posture the moment that song was heard.

It wasn't that she particularly knew the song or tune, but the woman was very partial to music--loved it, even. On that silent night, the sound of music was welcome, even if she herself had feared disturbing others by creating it herself. Unbeknownst to Ralla, she was playing right into the musician's hands by turning herself to follow it, picking up a scent as she did. No doubt the maker had also picked up her scent, and--ah, there she was. Ralla was greeted by the sight of an elder woman in a long cloak, her gray fur peeking out in some places and her braid woven over her shoulder.

"Good evening," the alabaster woman said politely, bowing low. She knew that she was a stranger in these lands; her scent announced her as such. Hopefully her presence so deep in the territory without an escort would say that she had been welcomed, and not that she was a very skilled trespasser. "Not to be rude, ma'am, but what was that song that you were humming?" Curiosity was always a trait that Ralla could not shake, random as it was in the oddest situations. For an unexplainable reason, the mother felt comfortable around this woman, alone and untimely as their meeting. Or perhaps it was timely?

Moon walks. "Moon talks." Moon thinks.
