With care Terra moved over to the edge of the snow. Stepping around it Terra made sure not to rustle the branches as she moved, silent as a ghost. Reaching a wide patch of snow, still just in sight of the den and pups, Terra began to dig. The snow flung around in big heaps, an obvious disturbance. Pretty quickly a Terra sized hole was in the snow. Happily she clambered inside, not bothering to cover the top. Her head was bent down, leaving just a pair of twitching black ears in sight.
She felt that the dug up snow was messy enough for them to notice, but letting them catch her with just that would probably be too difficult. To compromise Terra left one black ear out as well, though if she didn't move it it might pass as a shadow. It riveted around, tracking the noises in the forest. Ready!
