Sometimes Things Are Too Broken

OOC here!

The girl seemed almost timid, frightened by Zera’im; the collie woman wondered why. It most likely had something to do with that chaotic aura of hers, and Zera’im watched her closely as she accepted the blanket and sat down. What had this poor girl gone through? Was she haunted by an evil spirit? Was she possessed? No not possessed, Zera’im had seen such a thing before and this was not that. What then? The Shaman would know, soon enough, it was something she could not ignore. She gave her name then, Gemma, and she surely was a gem. Her pristine white coat was quite becoming, and had Zera been a younger, more fickle woman she would have quite jealous. That fact that Gemma seemed to maintain the white, untouched by yellowing or other stains, was quite a feat.

The girl asked her what tea was and Zera’im could not help but to cock her head at her somewhat quizzically, but then she just laughed it off. Tea is a hot drink. One puts herbs into hot water until they dissolve or flavor the water. It is quite lovely; this here is hemp tea, it should help your hangover. Her mismatched eyes twinkled at the girl as she said this, showing that she was not judgmental of her intoxication. Zera’im herself had been drunk many times before, but that was not for pleasure but instead when drinking elixirs for vision quests. It had been quite some time however since she had partaken of any mind altering substance, save the cannabis.

The kettle started to softly whistled and Zera’im adeptly removed it from the fire. She then retrieved two small clay cups from her pack, softly unwrapping them from the cloth that was meant to keep them from breaking. She poured the tea into each cup and handed one to Gemma, the smell of the herb was unmistakable, this was a good batch of hemp tea. Careful now, that will be very hot, give it a moment to cool. Zera’im retrieved her own cup and held it in her boney paws, letting the warmth radiate into her hands. It felt good, the warmth, Zera’im wished she could turn into a tiny sprite so she could bathe in the tea. She chuckled at this silly thought before turning her attention to her guest again, So Gemma, do you live nearby? It was an innocent question, one that was meant to start a conversation between the two. Zera’im was very curious about why Gemma’s aura was in the state it was in, but she wondered if letting on that she could sense it wouldn't be good at this time. The girl seemed nervous and Zera’im did not want to frighten her off. Perhaps after she had proven to the white wolfess that she was no threat, then she would ask. There might be something that Zera'im could do for the girl, something she could give her. She'd have to think on the matter while they spoke.
