An Olive Rabbit

The Inferni member had been paying attention to the woman at the border, not to the lands at her back. She had not heard the younger creature approaching as she spoke with X'yrin. Zana let her eyes flicker back to watch the expression change on the pack members face at the information that Zana held. She shifted her weight to the left side, off her previously injured right haunch as she spoke. "She was one of our leaders and like all she pledged her life and loyalty to the clan. She refused to follow our laws and fled to an easier life." Zana didn't care if she offended the woman, in her eyes the life of any pack was far easier than that of the clan and she stood by that belief.

Zana didn't fault the woman for belonging to a pack that their subleader fled to, nor did she outright hate the packs. She disliked them, but it was her duty to associate with them to some degree and a civil tongue and civil presentation were often the easiest things to come by. She had been about to speak of this with X'yrin when she was interrupted by the screeching voice of another. The small hybrid whipped her head around quickly just in time to catch the movement of the other younger woman.

She snarled in annoyance at the impatience of her lower ranked clan mate and threw herself between the two of them. X'yrin was her guest at the moment and had every right to be there as the scout was questioning her and addressing her own pack's issue with the clan at the moment. Her grey lavender orbs darkened dangerously as she raised herself to her full secui height, her heckles raised as she challenged her lower ranked clan member to try and attack. She was doing her job and this youth was pushing her luck with intruding.
