Bastion was running around Salsola with Enigma. It still amazed him how quickly the pup had grown. And Enigma was still growing at that. The pup was most certainly going to end up being larger than Bastion, that much was for certain. But then again his own siblings were larger than himself and he had come to find out that this was his brother's son. At least that was the biological factoring into it but Bastion had claimed Enigma as his own and so he would be the father that Enigma knows. And he had even charged his brother with the task of going out and making more for him.
While Bastion wasn't looking Enigma had ran out towards the borders and ended up getting chased back by a loner. It was lucky that the traps located around the borders had snagged the canine before Enigma could be harmed. Still, just Enigma explaining what had happened was enough to upset Bastion. How dare someone think to try and harm something that belonged to him? Who was it that thought it would be wise to try and steal something of his? Well Bastion was determined to find that much out.
He sent up a short call to summon Janos and went to go explore, Enigma trailing along at his side. He allowed the younger boy to lead the way once they got closer to the borders to that he could point out exactly where to find the attacker so that they wouldn't have to waste time walking along the whole stretch of the borders. The small male ended up approaching the trapped loner with a shake of his head. He didn't bother to say or do anything but simply stood to the side and watched, waiting for Janos to get there since he would need to the other male's strength in order to help free the loner as well as to restrain the canine once it was released from the trap.
