Morning time was not a friend; it was an enemy, one that Octavius hated with all of his little heart. He didn’t WANT to get up and go play with anyone; he wanted to stay snuggled in his Mama’s bed, right in the warm spot where she’d been laying before. Naniko however, wasn’t having any of that. The big snowy queen lifted the boy by his back legs and gave him a gentle shake before setting him down lightly and swatting his behind. Yelping softly, he tucked his tail under and skittered out of the den, snatching up his little rabbit skin cloak on the way and dragging it along with him. Someone in the halls would help him get it on, and then he’d be able to go and play outside without getting too cold.

The walk to the entrances and exits was void of any other souls, so he decided to head into some of the rooms to see if anyone was awake yet. The common room was her first choice, of course, it was always housing someone. Scampering in, he sent his blood red eyes from side to side, looking to see who would be there today. There was a pretty lady sitting off to the side. She was dark with brown and a weird piece of cloth on her body. Octavius tilted his head to the side and walked closer, going to stand within touching distance. The small cloak fell from his jaws and he sat down, little rolls of fat and skin that had yet to be filled in bunched against his haunches.

Hello…you are really pwetty, you know? I like that…what is it? His little nose poked in the direction of the hat and scarf. They looked weird, shaped oddly, what would they be put on?
