It had only been a couple days since his run-in with his father Daire and had his younger siblings put into his possession. He already adored his tiny itty bitty baby siblings, and so did Trigger. He was still injured from the fight. Swentzle had come the day after and helped him bandage the gashes before he left, and left his bison, Hamza, and his wagon with the Hughes family, along with some spices and pelts and other things he didn't want or need to take back home with him. Leon was very thankful for this, but it didn't leave him knowing how to take care of himself any better. Usually Trig helped him out, but he'd never been hurt this badly before. Already the bandages Swentzle put on his arm, side and cheek were bloodied and needed changing.

The older Hughes had left his younger siblings a bit earlier to find some water and clean out his wounds. He had to take the bandages off, but there was no way he could reuse them. He had no way to clean them and use them again without possibly infecting his wounds further. He found a little stream nearby and settled himself by it to clean up some. He was caught by surprise by the sound of a very familiar voice. He turned to look back in the direction of his den, where the howl came from, and stupidly jumped up to head toward the older male who he'd met just a short while before Sophie and Boothe were brought here. Leon ended up tearing his side open again jumping up, but he didn't seem to care. He ran over to meet Light, popping out from the trees and then casually wandering over to the much taller, scarred brute who looked very different compared to when they met and Light was drunk.

"Aww. Not drunk, I see?" Leon teased, ignoring the intense pain in his bleeding side. He wasn't wearing a shirt as he was before, nor his scarf. He didn't want to bloody up any more clothes and intended on trying to wash up in the lake later, if he could manage it. He held the old bandage from his side up to the bleeding gash, trying to look casual despite still being freshly wounded from Daire's cowardly way of fighting. "What brings you here, Hon?" He couldn't really fathom why Light was going out of his way to meet him again. He didn't think he left the best impression on him, since he'd made the obviously gay male uncomfortable with his flirting before. "Can't say I'm not pleased t'see y'though." He smirked cockily, his curled tail wagging behind him. The kids did the right thing and stayed in the den since none of them knew who Light was, and Leon wasn't ready to introduce his growing family to him quite yet.
