The night was eerily dark and Conri could barely make out her form despite the stark white color of her coat. The shroud of trees above them didn't help matters either, and when Conri was sure that she had stopped he reached out a hand to lay it against her shoulder, suddenly concerned. Her voice was quiet and she had been gone for so long that Conri had no other choice but to think that there was something going. What was in his head wasn't what was really going on though. He was certain that she was suddenly uncertain of their relationship, that she had gone away to think about things and now she had finally returned to tell him that she was leaving him.


"Is something wrong Nani?" His own words were quiet, laced with a whine that could tell the world that doom was coming.
