Eclipse had not had much experience fishing other than in the shallows, but she had enjoyed it when she did learn. To catch a fish bare handed was a skill that took patience and determination. So to learn of a different and less time consuming, at least to her, way of fishing, excited Eclipse. She watched as he put the fishing gear away and he told her to grab the fish. She complied and followed him. As he went out to get the wood for a fire she started scaling the fish, taking a nice knife she had found in a shop a while ago, it was stil sharp and had no rust on it, so she cherished it as a great cooking knife. it was thing, and slanted a little, perfect for scaling and cutting up fish into thinner slices ans making them taste even better. Once he came back with an armful and dropped it she started working on making the fire, leaving the fish on the stone she was working on.

Once she had the fire started she pulled out a frying pan, and found a few mild spices she had procured over the summer and fall. She sprinkled a few on each fish and put them on the pan. then maneuvered the fire and made a makeshift stove in a way to put the pan overtop. It was a traveling grate, that had legs, that were adjustable, it was a neat find, and she was sure to use it where she went. She got lucky because she found most o this stuff in the camping sections of many super markets as well as the resteraunts and stuff for the pans and cook ware. Most of which other wolves hadn’t really ravaged much and time seemed to preserve such things far better than others. She sat crosslegged with the frying pan in her hand and was making sure that it was at the right level for the fire and then waited for Anatoliy to return.
