Yes baked goods were hard to make and though Eclipse had yet to make any due to lack of ingredients she was confident enough she could make them with ease, though that was probably just her puppy confidence talking. Anatoliy spoke of uses of eggs and this intrigued the girl, she had heard of eggs used outside of some stuff, though she wasn’t sure exactly how good they would taste. She did not have direct contact with any eggs for she didn’t know if Ichika owned chickens at all. This was a thought put in the back of her head to find out. Maybe she could learn to make dishes that did have egg in them.

“The recipe came from the Orient?”

She tilted her head at the question. This confused her and she wanted a possible elaboration, for it intrigued her, maybe she could find a recipe when she understood what the man was saying, or meaning. Eclipse smiled as he nodded and said good. Eclipse had no experience with any types of oil or butter for they had no cows nor harvests that would produce such a thing, though she tried her best to work that part out without burning the food or making it too hard, it was always best served fresh in her opinion, and she was glad that the very large male enjoyed it. To think such a big man, who could be trained in fighting and hurting was a fisherman, and knew things of cooking. This pleased the girl far beyond anything in her wildest dreams. She had not met anyone who knew so much about cooking before, and just from the few words he said, helped her understand even more, and that she would keep in mind for the next time she was at home, cooking. Eclipse blinked as Anatoliy explained Russia. She had heard of one other traveling the sea, but he hadn’t told her where, and now... Well this large man said his home, where he was born was across the sea. She remembered the sea sick feeling she got when the other had told her about being over the water for months and the close quarters one had that would drive a wolf crazy

“Why did you leave there? You seem very fond of Russia.”

She asked, but knew he might not answer. This was a question she didn’t normally ask, one that was too personal but she was feeling far too at home now even with the stranger. She flipped her fish over making sure that it was finished, and then slid her own slices onto her plate, lifting the pan off the fire to cool before she washed it with warmed water later on.
