Dalgina whined a little, licking at her sightly burned paw. She looked up at Sage as she spoke. Her tail wagged a little, though the warning came too late. Fire bite me! She growled at it, warning it not to come close. She didn't think Sage was telling the truth about not being able to defeat it. After all, Sage put her hand in there without being injured at all. The sizzling of the eggs held the puppy's attention more than the fire though, and she barked happily as it was placed on the ground.
She pounced on the plate eagerly, chomping at the hot eggs. The yolk leaked down her black fur, staining it. Messily she licked at her face, happily enjoying the meal. It was quite good. She snuffed at the plate happily, chasing the pieces around until each one was hunted down and eagerly swallowed. Licking the plate clean Dalgina sat back, tail wagging. She looked up at Sage, smiling. Fat birds make good eggs! She moved to step forward, hesitating a little as the paw still stung slightly.
