Dalgina didn't believe Sage when she said bread could taste good. There was no way that was true. She did agree that meat was the best though. Sage dropped down, softly stroking Dalgina. The soothing movement relaxed her, and Dalgina moved around so that she was curled up next to Sage, hoping that the coyote would stay and keep her company. She wasn't ready to sleep after all. Not really. Another large yawn escaped her, brown eyes closing.
A thick soft covering settled over her tiny body. Twisting around Dalgina got part of it in her mouth, chewing on it lightly. It was only a few more minutes that Dalgina was actually awake, enjoying her new friend's soft touch and the warmth of the fire. Her dreams beckoned, and soon she was traveling new worlds filled with strange creatures, all eager to meet her.
