Warmth. There was a snift in warmth. One minute it was nextit was under her then it was all over her. She could smell Aleo and leaned against him. "Y... yo c...came... f.....fo....for me....I... lost them... I lost o...our babies.." she whispered against his black fur as she started to shiver uncontrollibley because of the wind. She tried to look at him and felt the blackness take over again. She couldn't feel her body and her side hurt so much. She was leaving her pups behind. She couldnt leave them behind. She needed them. She needed to keep them warm. She wanted to save them. All rational mind left the woman as she struggled feebly against her mate.
"Put me down... let me save them... let me save my pups! Please I can hear them call for me! P...please...... they call for me,' she whimpered as she tried to get out of Aleo's arms.
