Budding Strangeness
#7
Dalgina giggled as Honrin began making a picture too. They were both completely covered in the dust now, though it stood out much farther on Honrin's pristine white coat than on Dalgina's already black one. She often got bathed more than she needed simply because of the difficulty in telling whether or not she'd gotten into something. Usually she had gotten into something, but there were still those chances when Dalgina had stayed clean and was still subjected to a thorough cleaning.

She oohed in delight as Honrin drew a picture to match hers. The circle was all scrunched up, making it harder to look at. The budding artist's ability still hadn't been fully tapped though, allowing her to see beauty in the lopsided drawing simply because it came from her brother. I like it! She stepped forward, accidentally drawing a line over the wolf's face. It formed a perfect scar across the nose. Oh no! Now you have a scar! Desperately Dalgina tried to fix it, licking at the dust and pulling back with a look of disgust on her face.
