Stand Strong, Stand Together

Kota felt the eyes of the members of the pack upon him as if he were a criminal who was being judged. And he knew they were judging him; judging him by his words. He lowered himself back into a sitting position on the ground and smiled happily at his Alpha's acceptence of his loyalty. As the meeting went on however the air around the gathering seemed to change; it became thinker with tension.

Kota caught his leaders gaze as she stared hard at someone behind him and he curiously glanced back to see the male husky with the -what appeared to be- child. At first Kota thought nothing of this; simpled watched with mild curiousity then gazed back front again. The dark female whom he had pledged his loyalty a few moments ago bade the male to speak his mind. Kota sat with idle boardness at this point; that is untill the male spoke.

The words that came from the husky seemed to pour over Kota like ice cold acid; freezing him to the core and burning him at the sametime. His head turned back again but this time his eyes burned with anger and hatred. Every last strand of his fur stood on end and it took the black furred male every ounch of will power to remain where he was and not attack and force the dog to beg for forgiveness.

That of course would not be good for him; it would show him as an enraged liability to the pack; something he was not. Yet it burned him how the dog spoke to the Crimson Dreams leader; the pack was a family and thus she, their mother. If he had spoken to his mother in such a way; he would not be here today. Kota continued to glare hatefully at the dog even as Savina exiled him and he walked away. He would be on the lookout for that dog...oh yes...and may The Great One help the husky if Kota did spot him in Dreamers lands.
