The travel between New Dawn and Ichika no Ho-en was not a long one. Pripyat Soul knew enough of the pack to feel no hesitance in coming so close to their borders. The leaders had come and met with Nayru, and Noah. Noah had gone to them. That was all Pripyat needed. He set out early morning, after making sure all was well in the Abbey. The trip would be an easy one. All he had to do was follow the shoreline north-west, letting the ocean guide him. The trek here was easy, no climbing over mountains or through pushing through thickets. Only his large paws stepping on soft sand. The whole journey his face grew more sour, and so by the time he finally reached New Dawn a large frown had formed on his face.
When he arrived at New Dawn the sun had not reached midday yet and Pripyat was in no hurry. The large creature did not immediately call out to the stuttering old man that he sought. Instead he seated himself cross legged and closed his ocean eyes, clearing out all the thoughts that had accumulated on his trek. Arye danced before him, as always, especially when he was near any large body of water. On the way here he had imagined her coming out from the waves, smiling that smile that never failed to melt him. But no, she was dead and burned up and Pripyat would do best to forget her. Then he thought of all the others. Phoenix Valley members who were no more. His own parents. Adonia. Now Noah.
He shook them all from his head, all except Noah. Finally the bright eyed boy lifted his lids, threw back his head and called out for the man who had ever been a present figure in his homelands. Until now. And he waited, his face set hard and stony, staring off into the empty air as if he would conjure Noah out of simple sheer will.
