Taking down a panicking horse was no easy task, but the piercing through the nose that the gypsies had done for him made it much easier, especially as Breixo was so large. He lay hands on the trembling sides, looking for any injuries--other than those he'd inflicted, as the nose was quite red and angry--and found none. After a moment, he looked up, and saw that the stranger had put his arrow away and seemed to be concerned.
At his question, Drakien nodded, and folded his legs neatly beneath him, removing his cloak and pulling it over Breixo's stomach. "Yes, he is fine." After a moment of making sure of that fact, Drakien lifted himself off the ground, brushing his pants off and glancing at Breixo, who remained on the ground, looking as though Drakien still had him pinned there. "Perhaps a bit too quickly he reacts." He added, and turned to observe the stranger.
He spoke with a distinct Italian accent, and was mostly bi-colored, rather short--at least shorter than Drakien, though he supposed that might be about medium or average height around these parts. He carried a seemingly empty bag along with his quiver and bow, and wore only a pair of faded off-white jeans. Drakien offered a little nod of his head, his face a bit tight as he looked down at Breixo with a little frown. "I am sincerely apologetic if he provoked you, stranger." He added, as his companion was known to be rather off-putting; and he didn't see a reason someone would pull a weapon on an animal, least of all a horse which could belong to someone, if it hadn't provoked them in some way.
Unless they planned to eat it, in which case Drakien was probably being less aggressive than he should be.
