Their thoughts did in fact run on tracks facing opposite directions, as Drakien was thinking of all the scavenging, dancing and drinking he'd done in the nighttime hours over his months of life, and though that had occasionally lead to something more, he didn't think overly much on those nights. Despite his rugged outward appearance and the admittedly cutthroat group he'd grown up with, Drakien had retained a more gentlemanly air about himself; not the kind to kiss and tell, as it were.
At Sebastian's suggestion, he blinked, and then grinned back, nodding his agreement. He was actually somewhat surprised--and mildly impressed--the other male had noticed his minor discomfort at all, and looked at him curiously as he rose and kicked the cushion over into a more comfortable position, dropping back into his seat and somehow managing not to spill any wine on himself as he leaned back against the beanbag. He could faintly feel the other male's fur brushing against the back of his head, and he mused that if he leaned back much farther his head would end up on Sebastian's chest.
He couldn't help but wonder for a moment if the smaller male would mind.
"Thank you, this much more comfortable." He said, and held the glass still as it was refilled, stretching his legs out and taking another careful sip. The liquid was bittersweet, and he couldn't help but compare it to the Moonshine he was used to. Fancier, he supposed, without as strong a kick as he was used to; but it coiled quite nicely in his belly, lighting a warm fire that he wouldn't mind stoking for a while longer.
