A break, if one could call it that, was at last hers to have even if it was to take part in yet another duty warranted by rank. Politely the female inclined her head, reiterating her previously uttered greeting. “Strangers, welcome,” she extended with a voice treading along the octaves of a whisper. “The lands that you near are those of Ichika no Ho-en. Might I ask what brings you to our borders this day?”
