The fae was so elegant in the way she moved and even spoke that Antykk thought himself lucky for a moment that he might be in the presence of some great and noble canine. But he knew better than to assume such things, as the last time he offered such a grand display of respect to someone he assumed high-ranking all he got in return was a mouthful of embarrassment. But either way, this woman was very well-deserving of his time and respect, so he didn’t think twice about whether or not she should need it. After all, she hadn’t dismissed his submissive posture, but rather seemed to respect it in return. The only confusing part was the fact that she seemed so friendly for a leader…at least, friendly in comparison to the only other alpha he had known in his life.

It struck Antykk funny, however, that the woman then seemed to address the horse before the girl at her side; this oddity nearly made him neglect the fact that she required a small gift of him should he find himself at her borders. This would be easy enough, sure, as a fresh kill or the like could be located if one was skilled enough to track prey in the winter. But, if he decided to join another pack, he perhaps wouldn’t need to worry himself over a gift. He still had so many questions about this pack, too, but perhaps it was better to receive an outsider’s opinion of it? His thoughts seemed to branch off in all sorts of directions, forcing him to eventually shake his head and regroup them. She then said her good-byes, and Antykk nodded briefly as he backed away from the horse. You take care as well, Eris, he said. It has been a pleasure meeting you. And with that, he passed the group and continued on his way.
