Her fur had long ago dried out and yet the cold still rattled in her bones. Almost sucking the strength from her body. She continued to drape herself in the thick polar bear fur coat whenever she left the confines of her home, the luxurious fur adornment layered on top of her own full pelt and kept her in some semblance of warm. It would take a long while yet for Jace to truly eradicate the stain that rescuing Shiloh from the river had caused. The disruption to her life and almost at the cost of her own life. What drove her to leave the warm sanctuary of her house this time was again the persual of another pack member's life, the rekindlement of another fire that was burning too low for comfort. Things got around even in a pack such as Ichika and Jace had been made aware of Neela's failing condition, her slow deterioration into a generally unwell status.

As such she was well prepared for her visit, carrying with her a large wooden bucket that contained a haunch of a freshly caught deer as well as a few of the choicer cuts of liver and other organs that would help her recover. Within the leather skin bag that was slung across her shoulder were a variety of clothes and towels, and other assorted bits of material. As well as tools for easy fire making in the cold weather. Her cooking skin and some twine to make a sturdy tripod. A few rough cut utensils and two bowls made from wood that would make eating easier. The remaining space in her bag was stuffed with whatever bits and bobs Jace had thought to bring with her at the time. Her twisted her head as a loud angry yelling reached her ears and she subtly changed her direction of movement to better steer towards the sound, stepping through the foliage with apparent ease.

The sight of the angry female with her knife out didn't phase Jace in the least and she was quite calm as she approached the raging woman, extruding a sense of peace and quiet. to her surprise though the knives were released without her even having to say something about them, the silver metal flashing in the dim light before sinking into the snow.

"Come on now Neela. Time to get you home I think." She helped the collie woman struggle to her feet and in the process stealthily snatched up the discarded weapons and stored them away in her pack, she would find a safe place to hide them when they reached Neela's home. The stench of poor hygiene and vomit radiated from her in waves but she managed to hold her composure and not let her grimace show on her face. The last thing her friend needed was someone bitching at her about her smell, Jace was here to help not hinder. She steered the physically exhausted and emotionally drained woman the short trip back to her home. The trail she had left was pungent and strong, easy to follow.
