Regner was barely able to keep himself from laughing as Adelle accosted the dozing hybrid, only allowing himself a small chuckle after it was evident that the child's ministrations had woken Ilusion up. Regner busied himself with grooming the fur on his paws as the two played, Adelle's giggles as she clambered over Ilusion music to his ears. While Adelle had gotten through the journey so far in mostly high spirits she had had little reason to play and laugh on the long journey with hunger and exhaustion common things, despite Regner's best efforts to shift such burdens onto himself and away from Adelle.

Regner didn’t see Ilusion flick her head around to lick Adelle but he did hear Adelle's delighted squeal followed by Ilusions laughter and looked up curiously, head tilted to one side in question. Catching Ilusion's look Regner suddenly remembered that Danish wasn't a common language here, "She is speaking Danish, it is the only language that she knows. I will translate if you wish to speak to her." Regner then turned his head to Adelle. It was tricky explaining things such as language to puppies as young as Adelle so Regner skirted the issue, using language that would be cinfusing to an adult but made sense to the puppy. "Adelle, hun kan jo ikke tale som de gør. Jeg vil prøve tale i hendes sted" Regner then lowered his head once more, giving his paw a long lick before twitching his head up towards Ilusion, amusement twinkling in his eye, "She was asking you to tell her a story by the way, it seems that she likes you."
