Juliet just sat there, only looking at his statue-like body. The only indication of his life was his slow moving shoulders that proved he was breathing, again she wanted to hug him but she could not. Her body stayed frozen, just staying still like him. Like she was mimicking his every move she did not make any notions of movement. Her eyes just gazed at him, looking at how his fur changed colors in the moonlight. He looked more of a soft gray than his normal dusty brown; his eyes must have looked different too. Her head finally surrendered to movement, tilting very lightly to the side out of curiosity.

She wanted to know how everything looked in moonlight, her eyes finally moved from his still form. Wandering around the room she had stayed in a few days now, everything looked so strange in the light the moon casted compared to the sun. It gave a soft blue and silver glow to everything, taking most of the color from the world. Something she never seemed the like about this time but it was not her fault to why she was awake at such a colorless hour. Nightmares seemed to always get her up as such the worst of times, making her realize it truly happened and that Lorenzo was not in the bed.

His movements made her focus back on him and not the silvery blue world, he moved slowly. Cautious that she might scare, sure his movements caught her off guard but she did not mind him sitting next to her. Her eyes moved away for a few seconds realizing that a few of the buttons near her chest area were undone, how stupid of her to forget those when she tried to fix them earlier. It was strange, she was one of those girls that did not feel naked with her fur covering her body but now. Without this shirt she felt like her fur was stripped off and she was exposed, guess that goes hand in hand when you feel violated.

He came closer to her face, her movements flinched lightly at his closeness but her mind registered it was Lorenzo close to her. Somehow, in the only day they met before that day he had understand her way of showing emotions. He seemed to see that she could not show emotions like everyone else even though she wanted to. That her voice would not be an indicator to her feelings, just her eyes. He always looked to her eyes like she did his. He was so close, she could not stand it. Too close for her body to like, but too close for her mind to not want to just touch his face and tell him she was okay. ”I could not sleep without you here.” She spoke softly though again no emotion shined through her words. Though her eyes showed truth, showed her need for him to be beside her. She was a flower right now, and she had lost a few petals from that day but she was still mostly there.

”Lorenzo.. I..” She started but could not seem to say her thoughts, what was she going to say? Her brain jumbling the words up and made her play a puzzle game, what was it? I.. Love you? Need you? Like you? What were the exact words, all she knew is that although some of her found him to be way to close for comfort her heart found him to be almost not close enough. A conflicting war inside her to find what it was she wanted, finally her mind and heart won. Even for a short second, her hand moved from her covered thigh. Moving to his nose and slowly and softly caressing to his cheek, her eyes smiled sparkled at his warmth. She wanted this but her body did not, it seemed to want to go in the corner and cower. It wanted to curl into a ball and cry out all her emotions, but for right now her mind was in control. And right now she just wanted to do this.
