A silly grin broke across Amy's face, a flash of who she was before she was devoured in darkness. Even that slight bit of innocence held the stain though. Without her mask on the demon inside her peeked out with cold eyes. Always calculating Amy measured the worth of introducing Levent to her trade route compared to the threat he held if he ever chose to turn against her. Yes, he was a seeker of immortality. That didn't mean he wouldn't turn on her, simply that she knew what buttons to push to keep herself from being completely trampled.
The cool mask slipped back into place, nice and polite. Showing you the route would be a lot of fun. She laughed lightly at his words as the tribe pulled into view. It was a rough settlement, some places scraped out into den like their ancestors, others in rough wooden huts. There was nary a canine to be seen though. Frowning Amy pulled her wagon off to the side. She tied it up and walked further in, leaving Hadley to stand guard. As she went further in a noise reached her ears. Shouting, and the sound of footsteps. Rounding one more corner Amy snarled. It was the shaman, preaching against her again. As she entered the clearing he backed up, moaning slightly as the demonic visions came again, always accompanied by her dark presence. Amy didn't actually know she was the cause, simply that her presence made the spiritual uncomfortable. Sighing she watched him shriek, yelling that a demon walked among them, harvesting their souls.
