Jiva Shrugged, he wasn’t going to tell the whole truth to a total stranger. The real reason was far too personal just to go babbling on about. His family issues as well as issues with wars that weren’t meant to be theirs, was his own problem and he didn’t see it fit for the girl to know such things. It seemed that she thought the same thing about the pack any any news it had. He nodded though, not expecting too much more than that even if he was the grandson of the leader. well sort of. Yes winter wasn’t so lean as his father had made it out to be, but knowing where his father had lived for the first six months of his life, food there had been entirely lean no matter what time of year.
Jiva smiled as she spoke of her border play and he couldn’t help but smile back. She must have been having lots of fun; to not notice or care about her coat geting muddy, dirty or anything like that. He got that way at times too. After all he was still puppy like and didn’t have the control adults seemed to have.
“What kind of game were you playing?”
Jiva asked curiously. He had played many games, though most of them were on his own and quite imaginative, but that was a fault of his own as he could have played with others, but he only remembered Robin who was very nice, but she seemed far more interested in the birds than him when they met. He had been with his father to let the raptors hunt and feed the pigeons. He wondered if they were dead or eaten by now. Niro had left the pigeons, but let the redtaill; Tobias and the bald eagle; Gregor go. He was sure the two would be around for whatever reason and wouldn’t have left too far unless they followed his father to where ever he went.
