Jiva may not have been the loyal member his father once was, though the man had left, and not returned for whatever reason that was. Jiva didn’t know, and he was worried, but he knew he did not belong in his father’s shadow as he knew he would be expected to perform as well, if not better than the grey man. Moving forward Jiva smiled ready to follow the girl. His old haunts... usually kept to the shattered coast or the stables, though he had visited the hotel once or twice. There were other places he had followed his father to.
“I sure hope none of my father’s traps are still around.”
Jiva said whimsically. He knew that his father wouldn’t be that irresponsible, but thinking about springing one of his bird catching traps was a comical thought. None of them were fatal. Unless one got stuck inside the huge cage that Niro had made, or couldn’t chew through the rope that acted as a net. He was sure they were stored in the stables where the birds used to be. He moved along with her quietly, happy to know he could visit his birth place once more before finding his own place to call home.
