With both of them in lupine form it was easy for Jiva to follow her onto the hidden trails. No one would know that she'd taken him to visit, most members unaware of the paths that she'd created winding secretly through the pack lands. It wasn't that she was planning something, or even that she was preparing in case something happened. Terra's nature was simply secretive, and the joy found walking the paths, able to view everything around her without being disturbed was something she loved. If they were ever needed Terra would reveal them, but until then it was just another game, challenging her to improve her stealth and move without being seen even once.
Her ears flicked backwards with curiosity, listening to his words. Terra hadn't known that there had once been traps in the land. She'd never come across any, and no one had spoken to her about those. I don't think we will. What were the traps for? It was thrilling and strange to know that she wasn't the first member of the pack to make such things. Terra's traps were pretty specifically aimed at canines, though the occasional prey did get caught in them. She only had one or two in the territory, not wanting members to get hurt in her games, and forgetting about them after her game. The path opened up ahead, coming up behind a rock to reveal the beach stretched before them.
