The dark wolfess sniffed idly at the ground as she stepped, her paws making a soft 'chuff chuff' sound as they moved over the cold forest floor. Her tail swayed lazily behind her, her ears erect as she wandered in no particular direction. She thought that maybe she had caught the scent of an elk a few paces back, but it had turned out to be nothing more than a boney carcass, leaving nothing to be desired. Despite the slight hiccup of an encounter days prior, Blind was in a rather good mood today, and she didn't know why. But she reveled in the child-like joy as she padded forward, a playful glint in her bi-colored eyes.
A vast array of smells drifted her way, relaying to her nose that many a canine had passed through here. She knew the mountains were not far off, and many travelers had taken this path en route to their destinations. Blind lifted her head, chancing a sniff or two more before dipping her snout into the snow and bathing her face in it. She shook the cold chunks of white that clung to her dark fur as she stood upright again, her bi-colored eyes bouncing about to survey the area. Lengthening her body in a deep stretch, her maw parted and her pink tongue curled in a yawn as the hiding sun tickled her ears. It was a rare thing for Blind to feel genuinely good, but today she'd allow herself to indulge in every minute of it, as she had no other duties to attend to.
